Kids receive loads of high energy worship and teaching of God's Word illustrated through interactive dialog, the use of multi-media, skits, and games. The messages provided each week, are designed to make an imprint on the lives of the kids today, and help guide them to a meaningful and personal relationship with our Lord.

Welcome to Praise Assembly Kids Church!

Kids Church is for elementary-aged kids. Children between the ages of 5 and 12 receive ministry weekly during the morning service on Sunday, 10 am to approximately 12 pm.

It is a privilege and an honor to serve the children of our community and to bring the Word of God into their lives.

This ministry is administrated by:
Lucie P. Hale, Children's Ministries Director

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) is the missions education program for all kids in the Assemblies of God.

At Praise Assembly, we believe that "missions" is the heartbeat of God. So teaching your kids about missions is crucial to helping them redirect their focus
from themselves to the lost people of this world.

Offerings for BGMC are collected on the first Sunday of each month. This year, we will be running a "cooperative competition" where the boys and girls unite to reach the goal of $12000 for our missionaries. If we make it to the $7,000 mark or greater by July's Vacation Bible School, something outrageous and scientific will happen to Ms. Lucie on the last day of VBS.

Past experiences have included doing these things to Ms. Lucie: duct-taping her to a wall, sliming her, making her eat worms, dunking her in a water tank, and making her dress up as a clown, while carrying a sign that read "Girls Drool and Boys Rule."

Our missionary focus this year will be twofold:

1) to support a project sponsored by Doug and Kerry Marsh, called Fathers for the Fatherless. This outreach mobilizes mentors for boys at greatest risk of being recruited by gangs in Central America. To get more information and see a project video, visit:

2) to support an organization called Kidlink International. Their mission is to bring the message of Jesus Christ to kids all around the world, through Kids Crusades, school assemblies, and even through building water wells in towns that have no running water. It is overseen by missionaries Jay and Debbie Risner. To get more information about this ministry, visit:

In Kids Church, serving one another is celebrated.

All kids are encouraged to get-up and do something for the Lord, starting right in our church service.
