Powerline Youth Ministries is raising money for Speed The Light by helping you wrap your Christmas gifts! Come by the Morningstar Cafe on Saturday, December 15 from 9AM-4PM to drop off your gifts and have a cup of coffee or hot chocolate!
We’ll have a variety of wrapping paper but feel free to bring your own. You can also help us out by donating wrapping paper!

We're celebrating 33 years of ministering in the Newark Area!
Please plan to join us for our Annual Founders Day Picnic right after church. All grilled items and beverages are supplied by the church. Families are asked to bring 2 of the following choices: salad/vegetable dish/dessert; singles are to bring 1 of the following: salad/vegetable dish/dessert.
After the morning service, we’re hosting our annual picnic and everyone invited to come out for some great food, fellowship, and fun!
Activities include fishing in the pond (don't forget your pole and bait), inflatables, pony rides, face painting, basketball, and all kinds of fun picnic games!
Our Fall 2018 Abundance Electives are here! This is a chance for yet another fresh and meaningful start following failed New Years resolutions. Adults can take part in Financial Peace University, First Place 4 Health, How to Get What You Really Want, Breathing Room, and Single & Parenting. There are meetings for kids and teens as well as childcare for the little ones. It all begins on Sunday, September 23 at 5:30 pm. Everything runs for one hour. Plan now to start a walk in Abundance.
Note: If you've already been through Financial Peace University or First Place 4 Health, you may attend again at no additional cost. Simply use the materials that you've already purchased.
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God's ways of handling money. Help us to honor the memory of Sister Betty Walters and provide excellent facilities for the teaching staff at Evangel Bible College in Myanmar. We can build this 6 unit faculty housing building for $66,000.
This facility is currently under construction and will be dedicated almost a year to the day that Betty Walters was called home to be with the Lord. You can give in any of our regular offerings received at church by writing "Myanmar" on your check memo or giving envelope. You can also give online.
Sister Walters was the wife of our founding pastor, Pastor Paul Walters. We can do this with your help!
A Ladies Book Club is starting on September 17 and will meet bimonthly, on every 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:30 PM, meeting in the Cafe.
Bring snacks to share, beverages provided. Open to 10th grade and up but no childcare will be provided.
An informational meeting will be held in Room 101 on August 26 following the morning service.
Fearless is a brand new, One-Day Conference happening in Pennsylvania.
PowerLine will be going on September 8. The cost to attend is $25 and the deadline to sign up is Sunday, August 26.
Fearless is designed to equip teenagers to make a difference for the Gospel. This is not just an event for “leaders,” it’s an event for all believers!
Students will be inspired and empowered to serve their friends, talk about their faith, and make a difference without fear.

America's Got Talent Finalist and Golden Buzzer winner, Mandy Harvey, is coming to Praise Assembly on Sunday, October 7 at 10 AM.
Mandy is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and inspirational speaker who lost her residual hearing at the age of nineteen. Mandy tours the world performing her original music and presenting her inspirational story of never giving up and continuing to try – she calls these messages Wisdom For Life.

Just a reminder that beginning June 17th through the Summer, all Sunday evening services will be canceled. Pastor and the Board have decided not to hold evening services during the Summer months but will resume in the Fall with a special Abundance Series.
American Idol Finalist and Christian Recording Artist, Phil Stacey, is coming to Praise Assembly on Friday, June 1.
You may have seen Phil on Ellen or the Tonight Show or as a featured artist on tours with Michael W Smith or Natalie Grant but one thing is certain, his performances are marked by soulful passion combined with a powerful testimony that demonstrates the faithfulness of God.
There's no charge for the concert but an offering will be received. Bring some friends for a fun night of good music and an uplifting message!
